Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 July 2026
Headhuntly Pty Ltd (ABN 16 633 982 831) is an executive search firm based in Australia. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and this policy explains in plain terms what we do with your personal information.
This policy covers this website. If we engage with you as a client or a candidate, the handling of information in that engagement is covered separately by our agreement with you.
What we collect
What you send us. If you fill in the enquiry form on this site, we collect your first name, last name, company, email address, the role you are hunting for, and anything you write in the message field. That is the only personal information this website asks you for.
Analytics data. We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to understand how the site is found and used. These collect standard technical information such as pages viewed, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, and referring links. We use this in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you.
We do not collect payment details, and we do not ask for sensitive information through this website.
Why we collect it
We use the information you submit through the enquiry form for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and discuss whether we can help with your search. We use analytics data to understand and improve the website.
We do not sell your personal information, and we will not add you to a marketing list because you made an enquiry.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally either way.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the site and respond to you:
- Our website and form host, which receives and stores enquiry form submissions so we can read them.
- Google, as the provider of Analytics and Search Console.
- Anyone we are required to disclose to by law.
Google stores and processes analytics data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. By using this site you consent to that overseas handling, on the terms of Google’s Privacy Policy.
How we protect it
Enquiry submissions are stored in access-controlled accounts held with reputable service providers, and only people at Headhuntly who need to see an enquiry can see it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry submissions for as long as they are relevant to a current or prospective engagement, and then for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Give you a copy of it.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete information we no longer need to keep.
Just contact us using the details below. We may need to verify who you are before we release information, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will work with you to sort it out. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the current version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
